A workshop for effectively influencing others with both your head and your heart.
LEAD WITH TRUST
Introducing a new workshop for leaders who want to explore an effective approach for building and maintaining trust with others.
Trust is central to high-performing, engaged teams. Yet in some organizational cultures, people hardly talk about trust.
Is trust top-of-mind for you when you lead? Do the people you lead actually perceive you as trustworthy? Are you aware of how perceptions of trust are formed? Do you know how to build trust in relationships, using both your head and your heart?
A self- and other-rated trustworthiness assessment is provided in support of this offering. See how your trustworthiness scores measure up to other leaders, and find out if you may be fooling yourself by believing that your team perceives you as trustworthy.
This workshop runs in two versions: Half-day (3.5 hours) and Full-day (7.5 hours)
Half-Day 3.5-hour Workshop Description and Learning Outcomes:
Learn a research-based approach for building and maintaining trust with others
Receive results to a reliable and valid 21-question Trustworthiness Assessment (self-rated and confidentially other-rated, you choose who to invite), so you can see how trustworthy others perceive that you are
Engage in exercises to reinforce how you communicate your trustworthiness with others
Discover how trust is formed between people
Better learn the language of trust, and 4 aspects of trustworthiness that are key to generating trust
Full-Day 7.5-hour Workshop Description and Learning Outcomes:
Includes content covered in the Half-Day version, but also helps you . . .
Identify your Tendency to Trust across various leadership contexts
Assess your Tendency to Trust others while leading, and compare your scores to norms.
Go deep with learning key concepts regarding trust
Learn the value of trust (what happens when you have it versus when you don't)
Participate in a live simulation game involving trust
Create a personalized action plan for your leadership in service of increasing trust and trustworthiness
In August, our author team piloted this workshop with 150 leaders in Sweden, and we received excellent feedback from them. We have applied their feedback to the workshop, and now this event is the first time we are running the workshop in the United States. We are looking forward to having more leaders experience it and tell us what they think so we can continue to refine the offering.
